No. 38 Men's Tennis Denied by Stevens

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 38 Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team (3-5) was defeated at home by Stevens (4-4), 4-3, in Sunday afternoon's non-conference contest. F&M gained an early edge by winning all three of the afternoon's doubles matches. However, the Ducks claimed wins in four of the six singles matches to earn the victory.

The pairing of Luke Brodsky and Soren Rudin-Aulenbach continued their success in the No. 2 doubles match, earning a 7-5 win for their sixth win together this year. The duo of Zac Ashtiani and Gonzalo Gentou claimed a 6-3 win in the No. 1 doubles match for their fourth victory this season. The first-year pairing of Tucker Chesman and Jack Gelman overpowered their opponent, 6-2, in the No. 3 match to improve to 2-0 this Spring.

Gelman outlasted his opponent in the No. 6 singles match, 6-4, 7-4, 1(10)-0(0) for his fifth individual win this season. Carl Kamdin earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory in the No. 4 match to pick up his third win this year.
