LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 38 Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team (4-5) earned its first sweep of the 2025 season as it defeated Drew (4-6), 7-0, Tuesday afternoon at the Brooks Tennis Center. Tuesday's sweep is the first for F&M since beating Ursinus, 9-0, in early April of last season.

F&M jumped out to an early advantage in the doubles matches as Luke Brodsky and Soren Rudin-Aulenbach blanked their opponent, 6-0, in the No. 2 match for the seventh victory this year. The duo of Zac Ashtiani and Gonzalo Gentou held off their opponent, 6-3, in the No. 1 match for their fifth win of the season. The pairing of Tucker Chesman and Jack Gelman eased past their opponents in the No. 3 match, 6-1, for their fifth win this spring.

Three Diplomats improved to six singles' wins this year as Samuel Donnelly, Gelman and Rudin-Aulenbach earned victories on Tuesday. Donnelly shutout his opponent, 6-0, 6-0, while Rudin-Aulenbach upended his opponent, 6-1, 6-4. Gelman followed by picking up a 6-1, 6-0 win in the No. 6 match.

Brodsky and Carl Kamdin moved to four wins each this season with singles' victories on Tuesday. Brodsky earned a 6-3, 6-3 win in the No. 1 match, while Kamdin blanked his opponent, 6-0, 6-0, in the No. 4 match. Ashtiani completed the match sweep over Drew with a three-set battle in the No. 2 match. Ashtiani outlasted his opponent, 6-2, 3-6, 1(10)-0(1), for his second singles' win this season.

No. 38 Franklin & Marshall begins Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday at No. 8 Swarthmore, starting at 2:30 p.m.
