LANCASTER, Pa. – For the first time in his career, Bijan Anvar of the Franklin & Marshall baseball team has been selected as the Centennial Conference (CC) Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning. Anvar becomes the first F&M pitcher to win the honor since teammate Peter Mullen in late-March of last season.

In F&M's 10-0 victory over RIT on Saturday, Anvar cruised through the Tigers' lineup, earning his second win of the year. The senior struck out six and allowed just three hits and no earned runs in six innings on the mound. In two outings, Anvar has allowed just five hits and has yet to give up an earned run so far this spring.

Anvar and the Diplomats turn their attention to hosting York (Pa.) on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
