LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall wrestling team was recognized as one of the top performing teams in the classroom by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). With a team GPA of 3.383, the Diplomats ranked 30th for cumulative team GPA across the entire Division I landscape.
The No. 30 national ranking marks the fourth consecutive season in which the Diplomats have been recognized by the NWCA for their excellence in the classroom. Franklin & Marshall has ranked as high as 10th nationally in team GPA which came following the 2022 season. This latest academic honor comes after the Diplomats had a three NWCA Scholar All-American Athletes in Jack Parker, Mason Leiphart, and Josh Palmucci.
On the mats, Franklin & Marshall won dual meets against VMI, Sacred Heart, and Millersville during the 2024-25 season. In addition to having the winningest wrestler in Division I, F&M placed 10th at the EIWA Championships behind three place winners at the conference tournament.
