BRYN MAWR, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team (9-5, 4-2 CC) collected its third-consecutive win Saturday afternoon as it defeated Centennial Conference (CC) foe Bryn Mawr (6-7, 2-4 CC), 6-1. The Diplomats gained an early advantage by sweeping the Owls in the doubles matches. F&M followed by winning five of the six singles matches to take the overall match-victory.

Jenna Harrison and Mackenzie Sherman earned a 6-3 victory in the No. 1 doubles match to pick up their fifth win together this season. The duo of Sahara Ahmad and Natalie Untermeyer followed with a 6-1 win in the No. 2 match to improve to 10 victories this year. The pairing of Presley Daggett and Kakie Colclough completed the sweep in doubles as they downed their opponent, 6-3, in the No. 3 match for their fifth win together this spring.

After Bryn Mawr claimed a win in the No. 1 singles match, F&M came right back with five-straight wins to close out the match. Ahmad downed her opponent in the No. 2 match, 7-5, 6-4, to improve to nine individual wins this season. Untermeyer collected her 10th win of the year as she rolled past her opponent, 6-4, 6-1, in the No. 3 match. Sherman defeated her opponent in the No. 4 match, 6-2, 6-3 for her seventh singles' win this spring. Sophia Rhazali claimed her 10th victory of the season as she took down her opponent, 6-2, 6-3, in the No. 5 match. Rebecca Bellick notched her ninth win of the year as she cruised past her opponent, 6-1, 6-0, in the No. 6 match.

Franklin & Marshall looks to continue its winning streak when it travels to play Dickinson on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
