LANCASTER, Pa. – For the second time this season, Bijan Anvar of the Franklin & Marshall baseball team has been named as the Centennial Conference (CC) Pitcher of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning. Anvar recorded three saves in three appearances last week, helping F&M to wins over Ursinus and Washington College.

The senior struck out a total of five batters and allowed just one base runner in 2.2 innings of relief. Anvar also did not allow a hit in his three appearances.

The Diplomats' righty pitcher sports a 3.58 ERA with 32 strikeouts and a team-high four saves this season. Anvar earned pitcher of the week earlier this year after a dominant outing in F&M's 10-0 win over RIT in early-March.

Anvar and the Diplomats gear up to host Gettysburg on Tuesday with first pitch scheduled for 3:30 p.m. at Caplan Field.
