Hollender Tabbed CC Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. – For the first time in his career, Matt Hollender of the Franklin & Marshall baseball team has been named the Centennial Conference (CC) Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning. Hollender was a force at the plate during the final week of the regular season, batting .667 (14-for-21) with a 1.333 slugging percentage and .731 on-base percentage.

Hollender recorded 14 hits with six doubles, two home runs, five walks, seven RBI, and 11 runs scored during the last five games of the year. Hollender also became just the second Diplomat in program history to have two five-hit performances with both coming in the final week of the season. In the final doubleheader of the year, the senior batted .727 with eight hits, three doubles, and two home runs to break the program's career slugging record at .630.

Hollender led F&M in batting average (.453), slugging percentage (.781), on-base percentage (.530), total hits (62), doubles (16), home runs (nine), and total bases (107) this season. The Short Hills, N.J. native also broke the single-season program record for most RBI with 54 this year.

Franklin & Marshall finished the 2026 season with an overall record of 22-15-1, while earning an 8-9-1 record against CC opponents.
