Men's Golf Ties for Third Place in The Moselem Cup

FLEETWOOD, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team shot 325 in the closing round of the Moselem Cup on Tuesday to tally an overall score of 630, tying Arcadia for third in the tournament. Allegheny notched the lowest score in the two-day event, carding a 611 to win the Moselem Cup.

Jack Cooley was the Diplomats' top finisher, shooting a 79 in the second round to finish the tournament 17-over par to place 14th out of 66 competitors. David McNamara carded an 83 on Tuesday to finish a stroke behind Cooley in the event, holding a tie for 15th. Winston Thai concluded the tournament with a score of 159 to place 18th, while Shane Lawler shot a 160 in the two-day stretch to tie for 19th. Riley Norton rounded out the Diplomats carding a 165 in the Moselem Cup to tie for 36th in the individual standings.

Franklin & Marshall now gets ready to compete in the Gettysburg Spring Shootout, starting on Friday, April 18 at Penn National Golf Club.
