5/2/2025 9:40:00 PM

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Will Bramley won gold in the hammer throw to highlight a successful day one on Friday at the 2025 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships for Franklin & Marshall. With three scorers overall in the weight throw, the Diplomats are in fifth place after day one with 13 team points.

Bramley's gold medal was his first during the outdoor championships after he won gold in the weight throw during the indoor season earlier this semester. The school record holder in this event, Bramley posted a mark of 53.65 meters to become F&M's second-ever champ in hammer since it was first contested at the conference meet in 2017, joining Logan Lewis who won the first-ever gold medal in the event during that season.

In addition to the gold medal, Dustin Stoetzel (43.09m) and Ben Ford (41.06m) placed seventh and eighth, respectively, with their newest personal bests. Those personal bests rank seventh and eighth in program history. Ben Ostroski (37.24m) was another Diplomat in the event, while Joel Pena Fabian (37.05m) also set a personal best. In the pole vault, Greg Bruno placed 10th overall as he cleared 3.55 meters.

Day two of the Centennial Conference Championships continues tomorrow morning with the completion of the multi events before individual events continue at noon on the track and in the field. Live results and live video of the meet will be available all weekend on GoDiplomats.com.
