Hadley Takes Bronze at Discus Saturday at CC Championships

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Austin Hadley earned honorable mention All-Centennial Conference honors with a third-place finish in the discus on Saturday at the Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Hadley's throw scored six points and helped the Diplomats to a cumulative total of 19 points after two days, placing them seventh in the team standings heading into the final day of the championship meet.

Hadley unleashed a personal best throw of 44.22 meters to claim his bronze medal at the conference championships. That bronze was the first medal of Hadley's conference career and ranks him fifth in school history for the discus. Laurence Miller (33.98m), Ben Ford (32.42m), and Ben Ostroski (31.69m) also competed in this event.

Alex Olener and Zach Houff put themselves in position for points on Sunday as they qualified to the finals of the 110 meter hurdles and 800 meter race. Olener's time of 16.42 seconds made him the seventh-fastest qualifier in the heats. Houff crossed the line as the eighth-best qualifying time in 800 meters (1:55.66).

Wesley Ihezuo was F&M's fastest runner on the 100 (11.29) and 200 (22.94) meter races. Alex Miller led the Diplomats in both the 400 meter hurdles (10:08.93) and steeplechase (10:48.61) events, with Cole Smith finishing just one spot behind Miller him in both races.

The 2025 Centennial Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will wrap up on Sunday. Action gets underway at 11 a.m. at Ursinus and will continue through the awards ceremony which gets started at 4:15 p.m.
