LANCASTER, Pa. – For the 10th time in program history, the Franklin & Marshall women's lacrosse team will be represented by multiple players in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Game. Both Lydia Cassilly and Lane Lambeth received this distinguished honor after capping their remarkable careers.
The Senior All-Star games will be held on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on Saturday, May 31. The Division II team will play the first game at 10 a.m., the Division III game will follow at 12:30 p.m., and the Division I teams will cap off the event with their game at 3:00 p.m. Admission for all three games is free of charge. The Senior All-Star games will not be streamed.
Lane Lambeth, named the Centennial Conference's Midfielder of the Year for the second consecutive season, earned first-team All-America honors after scoring 53 goals and totaling 60 points. She was also the team leader with 38 ground balls while causing 17 turnovers. Lambeth scored multiple goals during 16 of her 21 starts this season. That included a season-best six goals versus Denison in the NCAA Tournament as one of her nine hat trick performances. The senior scooped up multiple ground balls in over half of the team's contests this season. Earning first-team All-America honors for the first time in her career this spring, Lambeth was also a second-team IWLCA All-America selection last season and graduates having scored 173 career goals.
Lydia Cassilly earned All-America honors the third consecutive season after leading the Diplomats with 91 points on the year (60 goals, 31 assists). Cassilly scored multiple goals during 17 of her team's 21 games this season, starting the year with a season-high six goals against Washington and Lee. The senior totaled a season-high seven points during wins against Haverford and Muhlenberg during the 2025 season and finished with a hat trick during each of F&M's postseason contests. A three-time All-American in addition to four all-region selections, Cassilly graduates with 231 career goals, 123 career assists, and 354 career points. She is one of just six players in program history with over 300 career points and joins Paige Moriarty as the only player in program history with over 200 career goals and 100 career assists.
Women's lacrosse won its third consecutive Centennial Conference Championship during the 2025 season, finishing the year with an 18-3 record.
