LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's soccer team kicks off the 2025 season on the road Friday against Catholic in a non-conference match, starting at 6:00 p.m. The Diplomats are coming off a 2024 campaign that saw them make their second-consecutive appearance in the Centennial Conference (CC) Championship game. F&M looks to get back to the conference title game and return to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years.

2025 Diplomats
Franklin & Marshall finished last season's campaign with a 10-5-6 record, while earning a 6-1-3 record in Centennial Conference play. The Diplomats won five of their last seven games to clinch the No. 3 seed in the CC Tournament. F&M proceeded to defeat Haverford and McDaniel en route to a matchup with Johns Hopkins in the conference title match. Five members of the 2024 squad were honored on the All-Centennial Conference team with Colleen Ferrarese and Dahlia Pepe '25 also being named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Region V team.

Franklin & Marshall's current roster consists of five seniors, six juniors, eight sophomores, and eight first-year players.

-------------------------
Players to Watch Colleen Ferrarese was named a third-team All-Region selection for the first time in her career after earning first-team All-CC recognition and being named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District Team during an impressive 2024 season. Appearing in 19 games with 18 starts, Ferrarese scored twice tallied three assists last season. Ferrarese's two goals were both game-winners as she helped the Diplomats defeat then-ranked No. 8 Johns Hopkins and Washington College. Ferrarese was dominant on both sides of the ball as she was named CC Offensive Player of the Week in late-October and Centennial Defensive Player of the Week in early-November.

Kate Boujoukos was named an All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention for the first time in her career after tying the team-high in points with 14 in 2024. Boujoukos registered five goals and four assists last season with game-winning goals coming in the Diplomats' wins over Arcadia, Haverford and McDaniel. The midfielder also recorded a hat trick in the win over the Knights on September 18 to earn CC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Lucy Fleming returns to the cage after starting 18 games in 2024, recording seven clean sheets with four shutout victories. Fleming tallied a goals-against average of 0.97 with a save percentage of 80.7 percent last season. The junior goalkeeper currently holds a 0.85 goals-against average, which ranks third in the program record book. Fleming highlighted her 2024 season by stopping 13 shots in two games in mid-October to be named the CC Defensive Player of the Week.

Lillian Williams played 16 games with 13 starts as a forward last season, scoring five goals and recording four assists. Williams also was 1-for-1 on penalty kicks in 2024 as she found the back of the net during the Diplomats' 6-0 victory over Bryn Mawr last September. That penalty kick was one of two goals she scored against the Owls, marking her second multi-goal game of the 2024 season. The senior led the Diplomats in shots on goal with 24 of her 39 shots being on target.

Zoe Warne started all 21 games in the midfield last season for the Diplomats, tallying two goals and five assists. Warne also recorded the game-winning goal in F&M's 1-0 victory at Gettysburg in late-October. Warne finished the 2024 season first on the team in assists, fourth in points (nine), and fifth in goals scored.
