ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's golf team opened the fall of 2025 with a third-place showing at Sunday's McDaniel Fall Invitational from The Bridges Golf Club.
The Diplomats posted a team score of 353 (+65), claiming third overall and posting the second-best score from the four competing Centennial Conference teams.
Sarah Wang tied for fifth, finishing with a score of 86 (+14). She birdied once in her round on the par 4 14th hole. Allie Tarreto and Sarah DesChamps finished one stroke behind, as the duo tied for seventh with 87 strokes (+15). Tarreto finished strongly in her collegiate debut, going +4 on the back nine with one birdie and four pars in the final six holes. Riya Sood completed the team score, tying for 17th with a score of 93 (+21).
The Diplomats are back in action on Saturday, September 13, as they compete in the Susquehanna Fall Invitational from the Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
