LANCASTER, Pa.- Sophomore guard Steve Donahue was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week for men's basketball following a 3-0 week for the Diplomats where he scored a buzzer-beater three to win the Franklin & Marshall Holiday Tournament brought to you by the Greater Lancaster Hotel & Motel Association and Discover Lancaster.

Donahue was key to the Diplomats' offense in a three-win week, as he averaged 15.7 points per game plus contributing buzzer-beater three against Lancaster Bible to win the 2025 Franklin & Marshall Holiday Tournament, winning the tournament's most valuable player award. Across those three games, Donahue averaged 15.7 points per game while shooting an efficient 64% from the field (16-of-25), 53.8% from three-point range (7-of-13), and 80% from the free throw line (8-of-10). He also averaged 2.0 rebounds per game, 1.3 assists per game, and one steal per game. In F&M's convincing 84-47 win over CCNY in the tournament opener, Donahue recorded 13 points, shooting 5-of-6 on field goals and 3-of-4 on threes with one assist and one steal. In the championship game, he buried the game-winner on a buzzer-beater three, totaling 18 points by going 5-of-10 on field goals, 4-of-7 on threes, and 4-of-6 on free throws with two steals, four rebounds, and three assists. In Saturday's win at No. 12 Virginia Wesleyan, he recorded 16 points, shooting 6-of-9 on field goals and 4-of-4 on free throws.

It marks the third time a Diplomats was named player of the week, as Kevin Nowoswiat is already a two-time Centennial Conference Player of the Week.
