LANCASTER, Pa.- Franklin & Marshall women's soccer senior goalkeeper
Lucy Fleming was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week following her clean-sheet performance on Saturday that made her F&M's winningest goalkeeper in program history.
Fleming made two stops to secure a clean sheet in F&M's lone game of the week, a 2-0 win at Haverford. The win was the 34th of her career, as she surpassed Ami Sheinberg '89 to become the new F&M program record holder for goalkeeper wins.
This is her second time earning Defensive Player of the Week honors, as she previously earned the award in November of the 2024 season. This marks the program's second player of the week award of 2026, as
Emerson McDonald was named Offensive Player of the Week on September 22.Â
Among Centennial Conference goalkeepers, Fleming is tied for the most shutouts (7), ranks fourth in goals against average (0.47), and maintains the sixth-best save percentage (.850).
The Diplomats begin their final week of the season against Bryn Mawr on Wednesday, October 28, at 4:30 p.m., as F&M looks to secure a sixth-consecutive appearance in the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Tournament.Â
