COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Three members of the Franklin & Marshall field hockey team earned a selection to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) 2025 Division Scholars of Distinction list, as Megan Dadio and Bella Konchar earned their second selection and Brynn Harrison was named for the first time.

The NFHCA recognized 543 exceptional undergraduate student-athletes as 2025 Division III Scholars of Distinction. This honor celebrates student-athletes who earned a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the fall semester and were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Megan Dadio added yet another academic recognition after being named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad earlier this week for the second-consecutive year, while she is a first-time member of the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and was named to the Academic All-Centennial Conference team. The sophomore midfielder earned spots on the NFHCA All-Region 5 First Team and All-Centennial Conference First Team following a season with six goals and six assists. Among Centennial Conference players, she ranked 9th in assists per game (0.33), tied for 17th in points per game (0.96), and tied for 21st in goals per game (0.32).

First-year defender/midfielder Brynn Harrision became a first-time NFHCA Scholar of Distinction after earning a spot on the NFHCA National Academic Squad for the first time earlier this week. She appeared in 18 games of 19 from the bench in Franklin & Marshall's defense, contributing towards seven total shutouts in 2025 and the fourth-best scoring defense in the Centennial Conference, averaging 1.21 goals allowed per game.

Bella Konchar is now a two-time NFHCA Scholar of Distinction. So far this year, she became a two-time NFHCA National Academic Squad member and first-time addition to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. The sophomore midfielder was a key part of the Diplomats' attack in the early stages of the 2025 season, as she scored four total goals and the game-winning goal in three-consecutive contests. She had two goals in F&M's 5-3 opening-day win over Susquehanna, one goal in F&M's 3-2 victory over No. 9 Messiah, and one goal in F&M's 3-1 win against Montclair State. Three of her four goals came via penalty stroke shots.

The No. 14 Franklin & Marshall field hockey team (15-4, 8-2 Centennial Conference) wrapped up the 2025 season with an appearance in the Centennial Conference Tournament Semifinals for the fourth consecutive season and team's best overall winning percentage (.789) since the 2019 season. Among Centennial Conference teams, F&M ranked first in scoring average (3.28) and scoring margin (2.07), slotting in the top 25 in both categories nationally. The Diplomats spent ten consecutive weeks ranked in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Division III national Coaches Poll, ending at No. 14 with a season-best rank of No. 13.
