Men's Track & Field Prepares for CC Championships at Denault Invitational

ITHACA, N.Y. – A small group of men's track & field athletes traveled to Cornell University for the Marc Denault Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The meet marked the team's final preparations prior to this coming weekend's Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Franklin & Marshall.

Greg Bruno was F&M's top performer in the sprints as he led the team in both the 60 meter dash (7.50) and 200 meter dash (23.86). Justin Harrison and Jake Zion doubled in the 200 and 400 meters. Both posted their best individual finishes in the 400 meters with respective times of 54.16 seconds and 54.32 seconds. Also on the track, Brian Mix was the lone Diplomat to compete in the 800 meters where he finished in a time of 2:04.36.

Austin Hadley and Ben Ostroski nearly put up personal best marks in the throwing events. Hadley was 11th in the shot put with his best throw being marked at 14.13 meters. Ostroski posted a weight throw of 15.08 meters to take fifth in the field. Benjamin Ford was ninth in the weight throw (14.36m) and 15th in the shot put (12.63m), while James Martin (shot put; 11.97m) and Dustin Stoetzel (weight throw; 13.72m) also competed in the throwing events.

The 2026 Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships return to Franklin & Marshall next weekend with action inside the Alumni Fitness Center getting underway on Saturday and continuing into Sunday.
