NEW YORK, N.Y. – A record-breaking women's distance medley relay highlighted day one of the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships (AARTFC) for Franklin & Marshall on Friday.

The DMR of Annalise Kauffman, Lillian Williams, Jordyn Collie, and Tara Silverman broke the school record by crossing the finish line in 12:07.24, besting the previous record set by the 2022 relay team that posted a time of 12:18.36. Today's relay placed second at the regional championship to earn eight team points, finishing just behind Scranton and posting the 26th-fastest time in Division III this season.

Lauren Dunnigan and Amanda Imhauser also competed individually for the women on Friday. Dunnigan placed 10th in the 60 meter hurdles (9.05 seconds) and 12th in the 60 meter dash (7.79 seconds). Imhauser contested the pentathlon where she scored 2,748 points to place 11th. She scored her most points in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.14 seconds, scoring 686 points. Her best individual finish among the multi athletes saw her finish fifth among her peers in the shot put with a mark of 9.39 meters.

Competing for the men was Austin Hadley. Just one week after winning the Centennial Conference Championship in the shot put, Hadley's best throw on Friday was marked at 14.76 meters to earn him an 11th place finish in the field.

The All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships continue through Saturday for both the men's and women's track & field teams.
