LANCASTER, Pa. – For the first time in her career, Mackenzie Ward has been named the Centennial Conference Outstanding Field Performer of the Week. Ward shined in her signature javelin event on Saturday at the Messiah Invitational.

At Messiah, Ward posted the top javelin mark in the Centennial Conference this season (38.92m) to take home the individual title. The school record holder in that event currently ranks 41st in Division III this season after placing 13th at the national championships in the spring of 2025.

Women's track & field has just two weekends of competition remaining before the Centennial Conference Championships. Up next for the team will be the Millersville Invitational on Saturday, April 18.
