GETTYSBURG, Pa. – For the first time in 13 years, the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team returned to Lancaster with the team title in hand as the Diplomats won the Little 3 Meet this weekend with a score of 159 points. The Diplomats finished with the individual champion in 11 of the 20 events that were contested to best both Gettysburg (135 points) and Dickinson (110 points).

Tara Silverman (1,500 meters & 5,000 meters) and Hayden Adams (high jump & pole vault) both won two individual events. Annalise Kauffman (800 meters), Lauren Dunnigan (100 hurdles), Katie Scott (steeplechase), Amanda Imhauser (long jump), Max McCoy (shot put), Mackenzie Ward (javelin), and the 4x800 relay of Emily Jones, Abby Bachman, Jordyn Collie, and Lucy Olsen were all event champions.

Silverman achieved a regional qualifying mark in the 5,000 meters (18:18.63) as she posted the seventh-best time in school history. Dunnigan also had a regional qualifying time in the 100 hurdles (15.19), in addition to taking second in both the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes.

Making their mark in the school record books were Adams and McCoy. Adams cleared 1.51 meters in the high jump for eighth-best mark in school history. She was also third in the triple jump after winning the pole vault. McCoy's winning shot put (11.87m) was the eighth-best distance in school history as she added key points with third place finishes in the discus, hammer, and javelin.

With a multitude of top three finishes adding to the winning score, women's track & field will now have two weeks before looking for even more personal bests when the Diplomats return to action for the Messiah Invitational (April 9-11) and Bucknell Invitational (April 11).
