LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's rowing team earned the program's first ever selection to an IRCA/IRA Coaches Poll, ranking 14th in Week 1 of the Division 3 Varsity 8+ Coaches Poll.

The Diplomats opened the spring on Saturday at the Skidmore Sprints Regatta. F&M's lineup of Jacob Ripperger, Peter Kutscher, Saul Schoenholtz, Max Taxter, Max Goldman, Aemon Cameron, Tai Jespersen, Moemen Ibrahim, and Mithayus Diaz logged a time of 6:17.8 in the event, finishing one second behind a crew from Skidmore, which earned 12th place in the poll.

The IRCA/IRA will be ranking the Top 25 D1/D2 varsity 8+s, the Top 15 D3 varsity 8+s, and all varsity lightweight programs' top boat. The regular season poll will be released weekly on Wednesdays through the end of the season and can be found here, on row2k, and the IRCA's Instagram.

F&M competes in their second event of the spring at this weekend's Knecht Cup Regatta on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12.
