LANCASTER, Pa. – Following an impressive season at the plate, Matt Hollender of the Franklin & Marshall baseball team has earned First Team All-Region honors by both ABCA/Rawlings and D3Baseball.com. Hollender became the first Diplomat to be named First Team All-Region by both organizations since Kyle Roche '23 following the 2021 campaign.

Hollender earned All-Region honors for the first time in his career after a dominant year at the plate. Hollender led the Centennial Conference (CC) with a .453 batting average and .781 slugging percentage, earning himself First Team All-CC recognition for the first time in his career. The Short Hills, New Jersey native tallied 16 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, and 42 runs scored. Hollender broke the program's career-slugging record, slugging .630 over his four seasons at F&M. He also set a new single-season RBI record with 54 this spring. In the final week of the season, Hollender became the second Diplomat ever to record two five-hit performances in their career, earning CC Player of the Week honors.

Franklin & Marshall concluded the 2026 season with an overall record of 22-15-1, while going 8-9-1 against CC opponents.
