GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's track & field team wrapped up competition at the 2026 Centennial Conference Outdoor Championships on Sunday. The Diplomats added two more all-conference performances in the throwing events during the final day of the meet and finished in seventh place with 60 team points.
Benjamin Ford added another all-conference selection to his strong weekend as he took third in the javelin with his best throw being marked at 52.65 meters. His bronze medal headlined the Diplomats sweeping the third through fifth positions in that event, with Dustin Stoetzel (52.07m) and Nate DeRosa (51.00m) adding team points in the event. Austin Hadley received honorable mention All-Centennial Conference recognition with a bronze medal in the shot put (14.05m). James Martin was also a scorer in that event with a seventh-place finish (13.17m).
On the track, Zach Houff scored in the 800 meters. After winning the preliminary heats, Houff posted a fourth-place finish with a time of 1:54.25. The relays also secured key points as the 4x100 relay of Makonnen Martin, Justin Harrison, Kenny Uchida, and Greg Bruno finished in 44.49 seconds to place fifth. The 4x400 relay comprised of Jake Zion, Brian Mix, Harrison, and Houff closed the meet with an eighth-place showing (3:31.19).
With individuals looking to improve their place in the national rankings, men's track & field will head to Army on Thursday, May 7 for the West Point Twilight Meet in New York.
