WASHINGTON, N.J. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team finds itself in a three-way tie for first-place after day one at The Gauntlet. The Diplomats shot 300 as a team at the Hawk Pointe Golf Course on Monday and are currently tied with Albright and Drew atop the leader board. Eleven of the 12 teams in the field find themselves within eight shots of the lead heading into Tuesday's second and final round.

Sebastian Botero is currently leading the way for Franklin & Marshall as his opening round featured pars on 17 of the 18 holes and just one bogey as he is tied for 10th place at one-over (73). Wayne He (+2) and Max Silverman (+3) are not far off that pace as both are among the top 20 players in a field of 66 individuals. He went under par on the back nine thanks to a birdie on 17. Silverman carded four birdies throughout his opening round.

Troy Gregg was the team's fourth scorer on day one during his first collegiate tournament. Gregg birdied two holes on the back nine to finish at six-over (78). Pablo Rodriguez made a four on the par-5 15th and finished with a seven-over card (79).

Tuesday's action will be a shotgun start with the Diplomat players grouped alongside co-leaders Arcadia and Drew. Franklin & Marshall's five will begin their rounds on the first through fourth holes of the course.
