Box Score LANCASTER, PA -- Attackman Mark Hild (Fr., Denver, CO/Denver East) collected a loose ball five yards in front of the crease and buried an off balance shot into an open goal for the game-winner with 3:13 left in overtime as the Franklin & Marshall College men's lacrosse team opened Centennial Conference play with an 11-10 overtime win against Ursinus College at Sponaugle-Williamson Field.
Entering overtime with a man-up advantage as Ursinus' Kevin Wallace took a penalty for a push with three seconds remaining in the fourth period, the Diplomats never let the ball cross midfield as midfielder Peter Moon (So., Durham, NC/Durham) and attackman Bobby Atkins (So., Concord, MA/Loomis Chaffee) ripped shots in the first 30 seconds of play. Following Atkins shot, attackman Cyrus Adams (Jr., Nashville, TN/Montgomery Bell) rode an Ursinus' player and forced a loose ball in front of the cage which Hild collected and fired over Bears' goalie Tony Aquilino, who charged out of the cage to contest the shot, for the game-winning goal.
The goal marked Hild's third of the game and he added three assists to lead all scorers with six points as the Diplomats (5-2, 1-0 Centennial Conference) rallied from a 10-9 deficit with 9:57 to play to capture their fifth victory of the season.
Trailing 9-6 following a goal by Hild off an assist from Sean Duffy (Sr., Springfield, PA/Archmere Academy) with 4:18 left in the third period, the Bears scored the next four goals as Dane Mangin netted back-to-back unassisted tallies with 1:49 and :16 left in the third period to pull the Bears to within 9-8 with 15 minutes to play.

The Bears led twice in the game as Mike Stein scored off an assist from Anthony Tori with 13:51 left in the first period to give Ursinus a 1-0 lead.
Franklin & Marshall answered the goal with a pair of scores as Hild finished a pass from Kohl at 12:40 and midfielder Henry Kusjanovic (Sr., Armonk, NY/Byram Hills) buried a feed from Hild at 10:23 to go ahead 2-1.
