LANCASTER, Pa. - Lauren Boyle scored 21 points, including 10 in a 12-2 late first-half run to start the No. 21 Muhlenberg women's basketball comeback en route to a 62-54 victory over Franklin & Marshall in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday.

Kelly McKeon recorded a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Alexandria Chili added 10 points to help the defending conference champions post their third straight conference win to remain undefeated this year.

Sarah Meisenberg became the program's all-time leader in assists, recording seven helpers to increase her total to 293, topping Dana Johns' record of 289. She also led all scorers with 24 points, including a 3-for-3 showing from behind the arc. Meisenberg's seven assists ties a season high.

Down 12-11 with 11:51 remaining in the first half, the Diplomats took their first lead of the game off a Meisenberg layup that sparked a 14-2 run for a double-digit lead. Sara Wolman drained a jumper and Meisenberg got the assist she needed to break the record on the next bucket by Alison Menna at the 9:02 mark of the first half.

Meisenberg then reeled off five straight points, finishing with a triple and Miriam Marcis  followed with a three-pointer to make it 25-14 with 4:29 left before intermission.

The Mules (6-0, 4-0 CC) responded with a 12-2 spurt in the final 3:56 to get within one at the half. Boyle started the run with a three-point play, scoring and getting fouled on the in-bounds pass. Boyle went on to get seven more points, while Chili snuck in a jumper for a 27-26 score at halftime.

In the second half, Muhlenberg broke a 34-all tie with 13 straight points, getting four points from both Boyle and McKeon. A Meisenberg three-pointer got F&M at 57-51, but the Mules went 5-for-8 from the line to secure the win. Amanda Miceli's scored her first points of the season today, including triple with eight seconds left.  

Casey Downie led with eight rebounds for F&M. Erin McSherry made a game-high five blocks and tied McKeon with 11 boards.

The Diplomats return to action on Tuesday against Juniata. Game time is 7 p.m.
