YORK, Pa. - Three Diplomats placed in the top ten as Franklin
& Marshall won the York College Invitational Saturday
afternoon. The invitational win marks the second in finish in the
top two spots of three races run by F&M this season. Emily
Wilson (19:49) lead the way with a second place finish. Wilson was
17 seconds behind Lindsay Wilson of McDaniel. Lindasy Wilson won
the meet running the five kilometer in 19:49.
Amy Jordan finished fifth with a time of 20:31. She was
followed closely by Megan Hunter (20:42) who came in seventh.
Amy Burke (20:59), Jenna Bush (21:00), Kara Doolan (21:04) and
Kelly Farrelly (21:07) finished in a pack, taking 11th through
14th place. Alexis Teevins and Grace Thompson finished
back-to-back at 20th and 21st running 21:29 and 21:34
respectively.
The Diplomats return to action October 2 nd when they travel
to Lehigh.
