SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Sheena Crawley's placed twelfth to lead the Franklin & Marshall women's cross country team to a ninth place finish at the 2010 Mideast Regional hosted by Carnegie Mellon at Cooper's Lake Campground in Slippery Rock, Pa. The open and hilly 6k course was led by Johns Hopkins University and Cecilia Furlong's time of 21:57.2. The meet featured 314 runners from 45 institutions.

Crawley earned All-Region honors by finishing in the top 35 and will find out if she earned a spot at the national meet. Individual and team bids to the meet will be made Sunday evening.

The team finish is the highest for the Diplomats since a fifth place mark in 1999.

Crawley crossed the line with a time 22:42 while Amy Jordan and Laura Schmitz took 61st and 62nd, both at the 24:12 mark. Emily Wilson turned in a time of 24:58 and Rachel Suydam finished at 25:16. Amy Burke turned in 26:03 and Alexis Teevens rounded out the F&M squad with a 27:29.

The NCAA Championship Meet is at Wartburg College in Iowa on Nov. 20.
