SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall and Susquehanna each tallied second-half scores as the two sides battled to a 1-1 double-overtime draw in non-conference men's soccer action on Tuesday night. The Diplomats move to 7-3-2 on the year, while the Crusaders are now 5-6-1.

Susquehanna's Joe DeLuca registered an unassisted goal in the 72nd minute to break a scoreless tie and give the Crusaders a 1-0 lead.

The Diplomats would respond five minutes later as Mike Irving converted off an Eric Elicker corner kick for his first score of the year to re-knot the count at 1-1.

F&M would manage three shots and a corner kick throughout the remainder of regulation and the two overtime periods, but were unable to find paydirt again and walked away with the tie.

F&M's Zach Fernberger and Susquehanna's Zach Zoller each played the entire 110 between the pipes for their respective sides, with Fernberger totaling three saves and Zoller notching eight stops on the night.

The Diplomats held a narrow 14-13 edge in shots, while the Crusaders had a slight advantage in corner kicks at 5-4.

F&M returns to Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Muhlenberg. Game time is set for 7:00 pm in Allentown, Pa.
