EWING, N.J -- The College of New Jersey won all but one event to hand Franklin & Marshall a 152-102 loss Sunday in a non-conference dual meet. The Diplomats fell to 0-2 this season.
Dennis Chen gave F&M its only win with a 26.13 in the 200 free. Chen went on to place second in the 100 free, in 48.13, and teamed with David Fell, Patrick Musselman and John Zipp to take second in the 400 free really with a 3:18.18.
Billy Cappuccio and Tim Landon both place second in two events. Cappuccio touched at 29.04 in the 50 breaststroke and swam a 1:03.64 in the 100 breaststroke. Landon was second in the 500 free (5:27.05) and the 400 IM (4:39.43.
Fell finished second in the 50 backstroke (26:13), Zach Wilt took second in the 100 butterfly with a 57.36 and Richard Denton placed at No. 2 in the 50 fly with a 25.20.
The Diplomats return to the pool Saturday in their Centennial Conference opener hosting Swarthmore at 2 p.m.
