SALISBURY, Md. – Franklin & Marshall, led by Mallory Reed, finished sixth out of 13 teams at the Don Cathcart Invitational on Saturday.  F&M averaged a time of 24:42.20 in the 6K race. Host Salisbury won the event with a one-point victory over Mansfield.  

Reed (22:23.00) finished in fifth place, 53 seconds behind winner, Kristy Scordino of Mansfield.  The freshmen was able to make a final lunge to defeat the sixth place runner, Nyack's Rebecca Wakeley, by one second.  

Julia Zielinski (23:59:00) crossed the line in 24^th place for the Diplomats while Kara Doolan (24:24.00) finished in 33^rd place. Jessica Love (24:42.00) snagged 41^st place out of the 117 runners with  Bridget Grogan (24:59.00) and Rachel Weiss (25:03.00) finishing four seconds apart in 51^st and 53^rd respectfully. Kim Hilfrank (25:51.00) topped off the Diplomats' seven in 65^th place.  

F&M will be back in action on Saturday, October 13^th at the DeSales University Invitational.  The event will take place at DeSales University Campus and begin at 11:15 a.m.
