SELINGSGROVE, Pa. – Sheena Crawley captured two golds to pace Franklin & Marshall at the Orange and Maroon Classic hosted by Susquehanna Friday evening. The invite featured participants from Division III schools and was a non-team scoring event.
Crawley ran 5:16.90 in the mile for her first victory and crossed at 2:18.79 in the 800-meter for her second gold of the evening. Mallory Reed placed fifth (5:50.60) and Kimberly Hilfrank took eighth (5:59.35) in the mile that featured 24 runners.
Larissa Kehne placed seventh out of 22 runners in the 400-meter at 1:05.66 and Olivia Bendit also turned in a seventh place finish in the 200-meter. Bendit ran 28.19 in the race that featured 38 participants.
Martha Stefaniak and Rebecca Swisher both placed second to pace F&M in the field events. Stefaniak threw 34'-9.75" in the shot put while Swisher had a height of 10'-5.5" in the pole vault.
Livia Meneghin had a distance of 33'-.25" for fifth place in the shot put and Morgan Gray placed fourth with 33'-4.75" in the triple jump. Kristen Marinaccio had a sixth place finish in the long jump with 15'8.25".
F&M will send athletes to the Delaware Invitational next Saturday with the remainder of the squad set to participate at the Bucknell Bison Open.
