WESTMINSTER, Md. - Mallory Reed finished 47th overall for Franklin & Marshall at the Centennial Conference (CC) Championships hosted by McDaniel on Saturday afternoon. Johns Hopkins seized the team title with 17 points, followed by Haverford (55) and Dickinson (68) while F&M placed ninth with 245 points.
Reed finished the 6k course in 25:11.50 and her 47th overall place was a solid bump up from her 69th place finish at last year's CC Championships.
Julia Zielinskii was just 27 seconds behind Reed finishing with a time of 25:38.30, which was good enough for 54th place. Kim Hilfrank was not far behind as she crossed the line at 26:32.20. Jessica Love (27:24.10) and Katie Lane (27:37:20) placed 75th and 76th respectfully.
Hana Seglem (30:22.90) and Brielle Stander (31:11.30) rounded out F&M's crew.
F&M will return to action on November 16th at the Mid East Regionals at Lehigh University. The race is slated for an 11:00 a.m. start.
