SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Martha Stefaniak registered a fourth-place finish in the discus to lead the Franklin & Marshall women's track & field team at the Springfield Last Chance Meet on Friday. Stefaniak posted the only F&M points of the meet as the Diplomats took 41st in a field of 55 with a limited number of participants. 

Arielle Van Wingerden and Livia Meneghin both nabbed top-10 finishes, with Van Wingerden taking ninth in the javelin with a throw of 123'-10" and Meneghin securing ninth in the shot put at 40'-00". 

Rebecca Swisher claimed 11th in the pole vault in field of 30 competitors with a vault of 11'-07.25".

Several Diplomats will be back in action at the NCAA Championships in LaCrosse, Wisc. from May 23-25.
