With just two games remaining in the regular season, Franklin and Marshall holds a one-game lead over Dickinson in the race for the No. 1 seed in the Centennial Conference (CC) Tournament. The Diplomats have not hosted the conference playoffs since 2007, but control their own destiny and look to become the first undefeated team to enter the tournament since Swarthmore in 2012. 

Series History: Gettysburg has not defeated F&M since 2007, losing the previous five contests to the Diplomats. In the all-time series, the Diplomats have the narrow 40-35 edge, including a 3-2 victory on Oct. 23, 2013. F&M holds a three-game winning streak over Dickinson, with its previous two wins coming in last season's CC Championship (2-1 2OT) and NCAA Second Round matchup (3-0). 

Last Week: Chase TenBrook netted a pair of scores as the No. 6 Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team kept its unbeaten record in order with a 4-1 bashing of Haverford on Saturday evening in Centennial Conference (CC) play. The win was the Diplomats first over the Fords since 2011, snapping a three-game slide, and improved their record to 14-0-1, 7-0 CC. Haverford dropped to 8-6, 3-4 CC with the loss. 

Prior to the start of the Homecoming contest, F&M celebrated senior day by honoring its seven-member class of Jared Bomba, Sam Lane, Matthew Landy, Derek Pawlush, David Rosenfeld, Chris Scott and Max Watson.

In the Rankings: F&M moved up to No. 5 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/ Continental Tire NCAA Division III Men's Poll. Muhlenberg is the only other CC representative in the rankings at No. 19. Dickinson received votes, but did not make the list. To view the top-25 rankings, click here.

CC POW: TenBrook was named the CC Offensive Player of the Week for men's soccer, announced Monday. The junior midfielder notched a pair of scores against Haverford and now leads the team with eight on the season, a mark that places fourth in the conference. 

Record Book Watch: With eight game-winning goals in his career, Bomba is in sole possession of third on the program's all-time list. Men's soccer's all-time leader is Ben Beaver '13, who netted 20 game-winners in his storied career. Teammate Lane is not far behind, placing in a tie for fifth with five in his career. 

Lane has also recorded 16 assists during his time as a Diplomat, a mark that places him eighth all-time. The senior forward needs only two more helpers to move into the top five. Brandon Corday '07 occupies the top spot on the list, notching 25 assists while in Lancaster. 

Trevor Britton is approaching a pair of single-season program records thanks to his stellar play in net. The junior goalkeeper has nine shutouts on the season, a mark that places third. T.J. White tied the record last season with 11. Britton's 14 wins on the season are third all-time, a record that White also tied last season with 15. 

Among the Leaders (CC): Bomba's four assists in his senior campaign place him in a tie for 11th among players in the CC. TenBrook's 19 points are tied for third, while his eight goals are good for fourth. Britton stands first among goalkeepers with his 0.46 goals against average and nine shutouts, while the junior netminder is third with an .825 save percentage. 

As a team, The Diplomats' 33 goals in 2014 are tied for the second-highest total in the conference, behind only Dickinson with 36. F&M has only allowed seven tallies on the year, a mark that places first in the CC. 

Among the Leaders (NCAA): F&M's impressive statistics put them among the leaders in the NCAA as well. The Diplomats' shutout percentage of 67 percent is eighth in the nation while their goals against average of 0.45 is good for 12th. 

Britton is on the cusp of breaking the top 10 in goals against average, ranking 13th at 0.45 allowed per game. 

Tylus Win Streak: Entering play this week, F&M has not dropped a contest at home since Oct. 2, 2013 in a 2-1 overtime loss to Ursinus, a streak that spans 11 contests. The last loss at home during regulation occurred way back on Sept. 22, 2012 in a 1-0 defeat by Haverford, a mark that now rests at 21 consecutive games. 

Off to a Historic Start: With a 14-0-1 overall record, the Diplomats have gone further into a season without a loss than any other squad in program history, topping the 2007 team that started off the year at 13-0.

Time Change: The Diplomats game against Dickinson on Saturday in Carlisle, originally slated for a 3:00 p.m. start, has been moved to 4:30 p.m.
