LEHIGH, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall took 19th place out of 43 teams in the women's college white race on Saturday, hosted by Lehigh University.
The meet was broken down into gold, brown, and white levels determined by times that each team submitted before the race.
The Diplomats averaged a time of 25:19, good for an average mile of 6:47.
F&M was led by senior Julia Zielinski, who earned 17th place with a time of 23:12.
Zielinski was followed by freshman Amelia Cadwell, who took 91st with a time of 24:54. Cadwell was followed by Rachel Weiss, finishing in 121st with a time of 25:41.
Diplomat participation was rounded out by Abby Grehlinger, finishing 136th with a time of 26:05, and Kathleen McCutcheon, who ran 26:41 to place 164th.
F&M returns to action on Oct. 2 at the Gettysburg Invitational, set to begin at 10:30 a.m.
