With just four games remaining until the end of the regular season, No. 1 Franklin & Marshall (13-0, 5-0 CC) enters the second-to-last week of competition in the driver's seat of the Centennial Conference (CC). The Diplomats continue their road stand on Tuesday with a match against Muhlenberg (4-7-1, 1-4 CC) at 7:00 p.m., before heading to Haverford (11-3, 6-0 CC) on Saturday for a battle of conference unbeatens. 

Series History: All-time against Muhlenberg, the series has been incredibly close throughout, with the Diplomats holding a narrow 31-29-4 edge. Last year, Jared Bomba's late second-overtime tally lifted F&M to a 1-0 win on Oct. 3.

F&M enters its contest against Haverford on Saturday with revenge on its mind after the Fords dealt the Diplomats a heartbreaking 2-0 defeat in last season's CC Semifinals. Each team comes into play with unbeaten conference marks, while Haverford will look to build on its all-time series advantage that currently stands at 33-26-7. 

Last Week: For the sixth time in the previous seven games, No. 1 F&M shutout its competition, this time blanking Johns Hopkins by a 1-0 score on Saturday afternoon. Chase TenBrook, the Diplomats' leading goal scorer, managed to get a head on a Jermey Levine freekick in the 56^th minute, as Johns Hopkins' goalkeeper came storming out of the net. The ball bounced past the Blue Jays' netminder and into an empty goal from 15 yards out for TenBrook's ninth of the year and giving his team the 1-0 win. 

The shot count favored Johns Hopkins through 90 minutes at 13-11, while corners belonged to the Diplomats at 5-3. Ben Wild, Devon Malfitano and TenBrook all led the way with two shots each.

Britton Repeats as POTW: Trevor Britton was named the CC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. The accolade was Britton's second consecutive, third of the season and fifth in his career. The senior goalkeeper stopped all five shots he faced in a 1-0 blanking of Johns Hopkins on Saturday afternoon.

In the Rankings: F&M remains at the No. 1 ranking in both the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and D3soccer.com polls for the third straight week. The Diplomats received 14 of the 20 eligible first-place votes in the D3soccer.com poll. 

Among the Leaders (NCAA): F&M's shutdown defense ranks among the best in the nation in several statistical categories, placing fourth in goals against average (0.30) and shutout percentage (77 percent). 

Britton's 0.24 goals against average is the second-best throughout Division III and tops in the CC, while his .889 save percentage ranks 13^th in the country.

Among the Leaders (CC): Several Diplomats find their names among the conference leaders, with TenBrook leading the team and placing fourth in the CC with 19 points, while being second in the conference with nine goals. 

Ugo Okolie is ninth with 13 points and five goals, while Janse Schermerhorn's five assists rank fourth.

Record Book Watch: Britton enters the week with 29 career wins, which places him fifth on the program's all-time list. Zach Zamek '10 leads the way with 41. The senior goalkeeper's 20 shutouts are second, a record that also belongs to Zamek with 25. Britton's 0.24 goals against average (3 GA, 1125 min) for the season is on a historic pace, leading the season record, which currently stands at 0.44 (4 GA, 810 min) from Walt Lenz in 1952.

TenBrook continues to climb the ladder in several offensive categories and currently places eighth in career points (59), ninth in career goals (25) and third in game-winning scores (8).

Tylus Win Streak: Entering play this week, F&M has not dropped a regular-season contest at home since Oct. 2, 2013 in a 2-1 overtime loss to Ursinus, a streak that spans 20 contests. 

Regular-Season Unbeaten Streak: The Diplomats have also not lost a regular-season contest in 33 straight games, a mark that dates back to Oct. 19, 2013 in a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Haverford.
