F&M returns to the playoffs for the seventh straight season and is aiming for its first CC Title since 2013. The Diplomats enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed after concluding the regular season with a 15-2 overall record and a 7-2 tally in the conference. Haverford earned the right to host this year's tournament after accumulating a 14-3, 9-0 CC mark, however, the last time the Fords were the No. 1 seed was in 2013, the year F&M captured the CC Crown with a 2-1 OT victory over Dickinson. 

Series History: The Diplomats are set to square off with the Red Devils for the second time in seven days as F&M's regular season came to an end in heartbreaking fashion with a last-minute Dickinson goal on Oct. 31 for a 1-0 loss in Lancaster. 

Revenge will be on the Diplomats' mind in the Semifinals, as the pair of conference rivals battle in the tournament for the first time since 2013 when Chris Scott's 108th minute overtime tally delivered F&M its first CC Title in program history. 

Last Week: The Diplomats closed out another successful regular season with a dominant 6-1 win over Gettysburg on Wednesday, before falling to Dickinson by a 1-0 score on Saturday. 

The six goals scored against the Bullets marked the most notched in a game since Sept. 8, 2007, when the Diplomats downed St. Vincent, 9-0. F&M registered its tallies on goals from Conor Finn (16th minute), Devon Malfitano (23rd minute), Stephen Sherbahn (36th minute), an own goal in the 54th, Conor Pellas (76th minute) and Dave Martin (80th minute). 

Saturday's contest appeared destined for overtime before an Alfred Hylton-Dei corner on the far side of the field was crossed into the right side of the box. Macsen Pritchard managed to fight through traffic and get a head on the ball by the far post to tally the game winner for Dickinson. 

The first-half shot count was dominated by the Diplomats at 11-1. Out of the break, Dickinson's attack found its rhythm, putting pressure on F&M's defense and closing the gap on the shot count at 6-5 in favor of F&M. Corners were also led by the Diplomats by a 5-2 margin. 

In the Rankings: F&M took a hit in both major polls this week, falling to No. 14 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) standings and No. 9 in the D3soccer.com poll. Haverford is the only other CC institution in rankings at No. 12 (D3soccer.com) and No. 12 (NSCAA). The Mid-Atlantic regional rankings have F&M at No. 3, behind Elizabethtown (No. 1) and Haverford (No. 2). 

Among the Leaders (NCAA): F&M's shutdown defense ranks among the best in the nation in several statistical categories, placing 12th in goals against average (0.52) and ninth in shutout percentage (65 percent).

Trevor Britton's 0.43 goals against average is the ninth-best throughout Division III and is tops in the CC.

Among the Leaders (CC): Several Diplomats find their names among the conference leaders, with TenBrook leading the team and placing fourth in the CC with 24 points, and ranks second in the conference with 11 goals.

Record Book Watch: Britton enters the week with 31 career wins, which places him third on the program's all-time list. Zach Zamek '10 leads the way with 41. The senior goalkeeper's 21 shutouts are second, a record that also belongs to Zamek with 25. Britton's 0.43 goals against average (7 GA, 1458 min) is on a historic pace, leading the season record, which currently stands at 0.44 (4 GA, 810 min) from Walt Lenz in 1952. 

TenBrook continues to climb the ladder in several offensive categories and currently places eighth in career points (63), eighth in career goals (27) and third in game-winning scores (8).

Impressive Depth: One of F&M's greatest strengths this year has been its depth. Twenty Diplomats have appeared in double-digit games with 19 recording at least a point on the season while 13 have scored at least one goal.
