ABINGTON, Pa. – A trio of Franklin & Marshall cross country runners placed in the top eight at the Penn. St.-Abington Invitational on Saturday morning to register the team title for the Diplomats.
Grace Adams led the charge with a second-place finish at 22:52.5, just behind Centenary's Priscilla Ortiz (21:31.2) who won the individual title. Nancy Le was also impressive for the Diplomats by coming in third with a time of 22:53.7, followed by Abby Grehlinger in eighth (23:38.0).
F&M collected 40 points to lead the 10-team field, followed by Cairn in second (95 points) and PSU-Abington in third (122 points).
