CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 20 women's squash team closed out its season in resounding fashion with a controlling 8-1 win over No. 22 Hamilton at Sunday's Consolation Final of the CSA Team Championships – Walker Division, hosted by Harvard.
The Diplomats, who went 2-1 over the weekend, finished with year with a 4-15 record, while the Continentals finished at 10-11.
By the Numbers
Four of F&M's eight wins came by way of 3-0 sweeps, including Sherilyn Yang's dominant 11-3, 11-5, 11-7 victory at No. 1. Ellen Verry (No. 4) and Katherine Galambos (No. 5) both extended lengthy win streaks to finish their seasons, with Verry winning her fifth straight and Galambos securing her sixth in a row.
The Diplomats improved to 14-7 all-time against Hamilton.
