Series History

Franklin & Marshall heads to Haverford on Wednesday for a Centennial Conference (CC) matchup. F&M aims to take its first win over the Fords since 2012.

The Diplomats wrap up their four-game road swing at Ursinus on Saturday. F&M aims to maintain a 32-31 lead in the all-time series while picking up its first road win over the Bears since 2016.

F&M Last Week

Johns Hopkins took a 58-47 win on Wednesday night in Baltimore. Kenna Williams finished with a game-high 13 points and 13 rebounds. The Diplomats recorded just one field goal in a five-point third quarter.

Among the Leaders (CC)

As of Jan. 20, Kenna Williams (11.4) and Kristin Hamill (8.5) are first and fourth in the CC, respectively, in rebounds per game. Williams is the only player in the Conference that averages double-digit boards. Williams also leads the CC with 1.9 blocks per game.

In free-throw shooting, Hamill (76.9 percent) and Williams (73.3 percent) sit fourth and sixth, respectively on the CC leaderboard. Players must participate in 60 percent of their team's contests and make two free throws per game to qualify for the free-throw shooting title.

Top of the Charts

F&M corrals 42.6 total rebounds per game, the top mark in the Conference. With 4.9 blocks per game, the Diplomats are 0.1 blocks behind Haverford (5.0 blocks per game) for the CC lead.

The Diplomats are also the most efficient team at the free-throw line at 73.1 percent. Haverford is right behind F&M at 72.7 percent.

Milestone Watch

Kristin Hamill enters the week with 1,093 career points, 15th in F&M history and 49 away from overtaking Dana Johns '06 for 14th. The senior center is also 10th on the career rebounds list with 675. Hamill is 24 rebounds away from entering the top-seven in program history and 25 away from becoming just the seventh Diplomat to record 700 career boards. She would become the fifth women's basketball player to record 1,000 points and 700 rebounds at F&M.

Kenna Williams is eighth in program history with 69 career blocks. She needs 31 more to become just the sixth Diplomat to record 100 career blocks.

Hamill Records 1,000th Point

Kristin Hamill became the 18th Diplomat to tally 1,000 points when she poured in 16 against Haverford on Dec. 4. The senior is the first to reach the threshold since Haley Pilone '19.

Elbon Notches 100th Victory

Interim head coach Beth Elbon earned her 100th career victory at the helm of the Diplomats with F&M's 51-50 victory over Colby in the Smith Holiday Tournament on Dec. 29. Elbon is the second coach in the history of the program that has tallied 100 wins.
