LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's No. 14 men's squash team took down No. 18 Navy by an 8-1 score on Wednesday evening in Mayser.
The Diplomats improved to 12-4 with their seventh win in the previous eight contests while the Midshipmen fell to 7-10.
By the Numbers
F&M went a perfect 7-0 from the no.'s 4-9 spots in the order with the Diplomats claiming three-game sweeps in each victory. Shams Abbas battled back from a 1-0 deficit at No. 3 to claim three straight frames while Sanjay Jeeva broke a 1-1 tie with two consecutive victories.
Wednesday's win was the second straight in the series after the Diplomats upset Navy during last year's CSA Team Championships.
Senior Night
Before the match, F&M honored its three-member senior class of Shams Abbas, King Bassett, and Yannis Senkel. The trio went 3-0 on the day.
