Series History
Franklin & Marshall begins the week hosting Johns Hopkins on Wednesday in Centennial Conference (CC) action. The Blue Jays extended their winning streak over the Diplomats to 14 games dating back to 2013 when the two faced off in January this season.
The Diplomats own a 33-31 lead in the all-time series with the Bears. F&M snapped a three-game skid against Ursinus in January.
F&M Last Week
F&M rode a strong first quarter to a 66-44 win over Bryn Mawr on Wednesday. Kristin Hamill paced the offense with 15 points. Mia Grundberg tallied a team-high seven rebounds and finished with six points on 3-of-6 shooting. The first-year also contributed with four steals, three blocks, and a pair of assists in 24 minutes off the bench.

The Diplomats earned a key victory against Muhlenberg, 62-61, on Saturday night. Kristin Hamill's 18 points and 12 boards were game-highs. Sarosha Parsons poured in 14 points with four helpers and two rebounds, blocks, and steals apiece.

Playoff Watch
With two games left on F&M's CC slate, the Diplomats sit at 9-9. That mark is tied with Swarthmore for No. 5 in the Conference for a Tournament berth. Four of the top five spots have been claimed going into the season's final week.
The tiebreaker formula for the final playoff seed will be as follows, according to the Centennial Conference Manual:
1. Head-to-head Centennial Conference play among tied teams
2. Team with the best record vs. teams in descending order of standing (1st place, 2nd, etc.).
Senior Day
Prior to the start of Saturday's contest with Ursinus, F&M will honor its two-member senior class of Kristin Hamill and Sarosha Parsons.
Last Meeting with Johns Hopkins
A 16-5 disparity in the third frame ultimately sunk F&M, 58-47, when the team faced Johns Hopkins in January. Kenna Williams finished with 13 points and 13 boards, both marking game-highs.

Last Meeting with Ursinus
The Diplomats dominated Ursinus, 76-51, back in January. Kenna Williams led the way with 23 points and 16 boards as Kristin Hamill (12 points, 13 rebounds) and Sarosha Parsons (15 points, 10 rebounds) also turned in double-doubles.

Among the Leaders (CC)
As of Feb. 17, Kenna Williams (12.3) and Kristin Hamill (8.9) are first and fourth in the CC, respectively, in rebounds per game. Williams is one of two players in the Conference that averages double-digit boards. Williams is second in the Conference with 1.8 blocks per game. Haverford's Cortlyn Morris paces the CC with 2.1 rejections per game.
In free-throw shooting, Hamill (72.2) and Williams (71.1 percent) sit sixth and eighth, respectively, on the CC leaderboard. Players must participate in 60 percent of their team's contests and make two free throws per game to qualify for the free-throw shooting title.
Among the Leaders (NCAA)
Through Feb. 14, Kenna Williams is ranked third in all of Division III with 6.1 offensive rebounds per game. The sophomore recorded a season-high 12 offensive boards against Gettysburg on Jan. 29.
Williams is also tied for 11th in the nation in overall rebounds per game at 12.5.
Top of the Charts
F&M corrals 43.5 total rebounds per game, the top mark in the Conference. With 4.5 blocks per game, the Diplomats are 0.7 blocks behind Haverford (5.2 blocks per game) for the CC lead.
The Diplomats are also tied for the top percentage at the free-throw line at 72.0 percent with Johns Hopkins.
Milestone Watch
Kristin Hamill enters the week with 1,233 career points, 13th in F&M history and 18 away from becoming ninth on the all-time F&M leaderboard and 17 away from becoming the 11th Diplomat to tally 1,250 career points. The senior center sits seventh on the career rebounds list with 751. Hamill is 71 rebounds away from entering the top-six in program history.
Kenna Williams is tied for seventh in program history with 81 career blocks. She needs 19 more to become just the sixth Diplomat to record 100 career blocks. The sophomore is 17 rejections away from passing Anne Krumrine '90 for sixth on the F&M charts.
Hamill Records 1,000th Point
Kristin Hamill became the 18th Diplomat to tally 1,000 points when she poured in 16 against Haverford on Dec. 4. The senior is the first to reach the threshold since Haley Pilone '19.
Elbon Notches 100th Victory
Interim head coach Beth Elbon earned her 100th career victory at the helm of the Diplomats with F&M's 51-50 victory over Colby in the Smith Holiday Tournament on Dec. 29. Elbon is the second coach in the history of the program that has tallied 100 wins.
Hamill's 700th Board
Kristin Hamill recorded her 700th career rebound against Washington on Saturday, becoming the fifth Diplomat to record both 1,000 career points and 700 career boards.
