LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team is tied for fourth place with 482.5 points heading into Sunday's sessions at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. The Diplomats saw a school record from Sophie Moyer in the 100 Butterfly among its many highlights on Saturday.

Moyer broke the school record with a time of 58.08 in the preliminaries before opting for other races in the finals. Moyer would later help F&M's 200 Medley relay - featuring teammates Sophie Bergstrom, Amelia Bothwell, and Julie McFadden - to a sixth-place finish in 1:48.51. Individually, Moyer added a fifth-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke where she already holds that school record. Joining Moyer in the 100 Breaststroke finals was Maya Blaisure who placed 13th (1:08.44) after qualifying to the "B" Final

The Diplomats' highest place of the finals session came from Catherine Crampton who took third in the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:38.39. Jenna Lu (4:46.78) and Georgia May (4:48.98) placed 12th and 19th, respectively, in the "B" and "C" finals of that event. Racing in the finals of the 100 Butterfly were Amelia Bothwell (1:00.77) and Jennifer Leigh (1:03.13), who placed 12th and 23rd to earn critical points towards the team score.

During the 200 Freestyle event, Sarah Gartner won the "C" final with a time of 1:59.08. Emma Devine and Kate Posner also advanced to Saturday night's session in that event. The Diplomats closed the session with McFadden taking the "B" final of the 100 Backstroke following her time of 1:00.35. Some of her toughest competition in that final came from her own teammates, including Rachel Baker (1:00.37) and Bergstrom (1:00.70).

The Franklin & Marshall Invitational wraps up on Sunday. Sunday's preliminary session will get started at 10 a.m. The finals are set for a 5 p.m. first race inside the Kunkel Aquatic Center.
