AMHERST, Mass. – The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team fell short in its road match at No. 18 Amherst, 6-3, on Saturday afternoon.
Sharan Punjabi (No. 2) and
Sam Freed (No. 7) claimed 3-0 sweeps over their respective opponents to cut into Amherst's lead. Freed and Punjabi each earned their fifth individual win of the season with all their victories coming in the form of a sweep.
Jordan Sprecher picked up his sixth win of the season as he downed his opponent, 3-1, in the No. 4 slot.
No. 19 Franklin & Marshall will look to get back in the win column when it travels to face No. 20 Middlebury on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
