LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team earned four top ten places on day two of the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. They end day one in seventh place in the points standings. 

The team of Catherine Crampton, Ava Tseng, Caitlin Barr, and May Hartog finished in fifth place in the A final of the 800 freestyle relay.

Rachel Baker, Crampton, Barr, and Madi Bickford were eighth in the A final of the 200 medley relay.

Sophie Bergstorm won the B final of the 100 backstroke to claim ninth overall, finishing 0.47 off her PR, which is the program's fifth-best time. 

Crampton was seventh in the A final of the 400 IM.

The Diplomats wrap up the Franklin & Marshall Invitational tomorrow with preliminaries at 10:00 a.m. and finals at 5:00 p.m. Tomorrow's races include the 400 freestyle relay, 1650 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, and 200 butterfly.
