LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's swimming team wrapped up the Franklin & Marshall Invitational with five top-ten places and an overall finish of fourth place in the points standings.
The team of Sam Kamdin, Ben Lockey, Henry Tavens, and John Devaney were second in the A Final for the 400 freestyle relay, while Evan Willertz, Brady Saunders, Thomas Smolinski, and Joe Clarkson were eighth overall and second in the B Final.
Noah Drexler earned eighth in the morning 100 IM time trials with a time of 54.50. This puts him fourth in program history in the event. A couple other Diplomats logged top-ten times in program history in the 100 IM including Jarrett Driever (55.34, 6th) and Willertz (55.45, 7th).
Patrick Rooney placed fourth in the A Final of the 200 breaststroke, finishing 0.36 off his PR of 2:05.66 which is the program's fourth-best time.
Matthew Tilghman claimed sixth in the 1650 freestyle.
The Diplomats next compete on Friday, December 6, at 5:00 p.m. as F&M hosts Centennial Conference opponent McDaniel to cap the 2024 portion of the season.
