BALTIMORE, Md.- The Franklin & Marshall men's swimming team (5-4, 3-2 Centennial) earned one event win and eight top-three finishes in Saturday's 202-57 loss to Johns Hopkins.
Henry Tavens picked up the lone win for F&M in the 200 freestyle.
The team of Tavens, Sam Kamdin, John Devaney, and Ben Lockey claimed third place in the 400 freestyle relay to wrap up the meet.
Kamdin claimed second place in the 100 freestyle, and Riley Williams was third in the 100 butterfly.
Brady Saunders and Tim Turnbull earned second and third in the 50 freestyle, respectively.
Matthew Tilghman earned two top three finishes, finishing the 1,000 freestyle in second and the 200 butterfly in third.
The Diplomats are back next week when they host Swarthmore on Saturday, February 1, at 1:00 p.m.
