ALTOONA, Pa. – The (RV) Franklin & Marshall men's golf team carded a 19-over par score on Sunday to finish the opening round of the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic in first out of 20 teams competing. The Diplomats also have three players sitting in the top-10 of the individual standings out of 106 golfers competing.

Oliver Clark and Winston Thai tied each other for fourth place in the player standings after earning a four-over par score. Thai notched three birdies and nine pars, while Clark earned one birdies and 12 pars. Ryan Klarreich carded two birdies and 10 pars to shoot five-over par and place in 10th after 18 holes. Wayne He followed with three birdies and seven pars to shoot six-over par, ending the day in 15th. Max Silverman ended the day with one birdie and 10 pars to sit in 22nd with a score of seven-over par.

Franklin & Marshall looks to finish strong when it tees off in the second round of the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic, held at Sinking Valley Country Club, on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
