LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's swimming team concluded the second day of the Franklin & Marshall Invitational, recording sixth-place finishes in both relays with 12 individual finals appearances including an A Final appearance from Patrick Rooney.

Joe Clarkson, Connor Marshall, Matthew Tilghman, and Ben Lockey earned sixth place in the 800 freestyle relay, while Sam Kamdin, Patrick Rooney, Noah Drexler, and Nick Lowell claimed eighth. 

The 200 medley relay saw a tie for sixth place from Lowell, Rooney, Riley Williams, and Lockey, while Clarkson, Luke Healey, Ethan Ferris, Brady Saunders were 11th. 

Rooney had the best individual result for the Diplomats, claiming sixth place in the A Final of the 100 breaststroke. Healey won the event's B Final, while Lockey tied for sixth place. Drexler finished in third place in the C Final.

Rooney and Tilghman finished in seventh and eighth place in the 400 IM B Final, respectively.

Ferris was seventh in the C Final of the 100 butterfly, while Connor Marshall was seventh in the 200 freestyle.

Lowell finished in third of the 100 backstroke C Final, while Kamdin followed with a seventh-place result.

After Saturday, F&M holds steady in fifth place with 527 points, ranking second from the four competing Centennial Conference schools. 

The Diplomats conclude the Franklin & Marshall Invite on Sunday, competing in the finals for the 400 freestyle relay, 1650 freestyle, 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, and 200 butterfly.
